Anthony Marmo

     Anthony Marmo, age 80 of Norwalk, died peacefully at home on December 18.  He was the loving husband for 58 years of Josephine Marmo.  Anthony was born in Salerno Italy on January 17, 1938, the son of the late Rosario and Rosina Marmo and has lived locally for most of his life.  He was the former owner of Roma Pizza and Marmo Shoe Repair.  In addition to his wife Anthony is survived by many nieces and nephews and was predeceased by his brother Rosario.

     A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 21, 11 AM at St. Philip Church, 1 Fr. Conlon Pl., Norwalk with entombment to follow at St. John Cemetery.  Anthony’s family will receive friends at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk on Thursday (today) from 4-7 PM.
