Carol R. Russell

Carol Russell, Age 72 of Sebastian FL, formerly of Norwalk, CT, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 28, 2018.

Born in Milford, CT, the daughter of the late Helen Malkin Raymond and the late Philip Raymond. She was the wife of the late Ronald M. Russell, Sr. She is survived by her loving children; one son, Ron Russell, Jr of Lexington, GA and two daughters, Tracy Mattera of Wesley Chapel, NC and Laura Sanchez of Sebastian, FL. Also surviving is her son-in-law, Richard Mattera, her daughter-in-law, Cindy Russell and her companion for over 20 years, Donald Kern. She will be greatly missed by her seven grandchildren, Ryan, Allyson, Danielle, Sal, Lauren, Ariana and Miguel. Her siblings, Eleanor Bottler, Helen Chaloux, Karen Koski, Diane Covill, Richard Raymond, Robert Raymond, Alan Raymond and Larry Raymond along with many nieces and nephews. She will be reunited in heaven with her predeceased siblings, Barbara Hancock, Sylvia Parker, Jean Simigram, Philip Raymond, Alfred Raymond and Donald Raymond. 

Her family will receive friends on Thursday, September 13 from 5 – 8 pm at Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 14 at 10 am at St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Avenue, Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John’s Cemetery.
