My heart ❤️ is sadden at the passing of a dear friend of so many years. Charlie was a sweet man who was a loving and caring person. He loved his family and friends. He always had some stories and jokes to tell when he had an audience surrounding him. He always made me laugh and want to hug him! He and his dear wife Laura would go vacationing and zipping around with my SIN and BIL, Lizabeth and Pat Aprea. They were the best of friends, as well as family. Each one is gone and the last is our Charlie! God Bless you Charlie, for all your contributions with the military and just being you......a great guy!! You'll be missed, but you'll be in my heart ❤️ forever! RIP, my dear friend. 💔👵🙏

To the family of Charles,
I was saddened today, to hear of the passing of this wonderful man.
I met Charles at N C C with the Lifetime Learners.
He always had a big smile and a greeting for everyone.
He enjoyed life and was always there to offer help to anyone in need, even if it was only to cheer them up.
Charles loved to dance, and made a lot of ladies happy to get them out to the dance floor.
He was fun to be with and had interesting stories to tell, and was always a good listener.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
Thank you Charles, for your service to your country and to all the joy you brought to those you knew.
RIP my dear friend Charles.
I pray that his family can be comforted in knowing how much he was loved and that he was still active with all of the groups he enjoyed belonging to.
Charles was ONE OF A KIND.
Fondly, Ginny

It is a painful thing to lose a precious love one in death, regardless of how long they have lived. Even Jesus wept when Lazarus died (John 11:35) and it pains our creator, too. Our loving Heavenly Father did not purpose his human family to grow old and die but purpose us to live and enjoy life. It is still his purpose(Psalm 37:11,29). He calls death an enemy that will be removed forever__1 Corinthians 15:26“the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.” He promised to awaken our love ones in the memorial tombs from asleep in death__ Isaiah 26:19 “Your dead will rise ...Awake and shout joyfully you residents in the dust! ...the earth will let those powerless in death come to life" and then “satisfy the desire of every living thing” (Psalms 145:16). What a delight it will be to see them again to enjoy life as our Creator purposed! Allow these words to keep comforting all of you.

What a wonderful tribute to a man loved by so many. How lucky, he was on Earth 94 years. Sending loving thoughts to all that will miss him but smile when they think of their memories.
