Christopher James Hauptman

Christopher James Hauptman, age 38 passed away at home on Saturday July 22, 2017. Chris was born on April 9, 1979 in Norwalk son of Frank J. and Patricia E (Hamel) Hauptman.

Chris had a passion for music and loved to write and record music. His accomplishments included working with the artist Lawrence Parker (KRS-One) and recording at the Cutting Room in NYC.  He also worked for the Junk Doctor.

In addition to his parents, Chris is survived by a brother Bryan and a sister Jean Marie, as well as his sister-in-law Amy and his beloved 3 nephews, Benjamin, Maxwell and Samuel Hauptman. He was predeceased by grandparents William and Dorothy Hamel and Frank and Regina Hauptman.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Jerome Church, 23 Half Mile Road, Norwalk, at 10 AM on Thursday, July 27 with Burial to follow in St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Ave. Norwalk. Calling hours will be on Wednesday, July 26 from 4 to 8 PM at The Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave Norwalk.
