David Haas Obituary

David L. Haas, age 80 of Norwalk, died peacefully at the Norwalk Hospital on Wednesday, October 24. He was the loving husband of Jean Baran Haas for 57 years. David was born in Nanticoke, PA on April 15, 1938, the son of the late Christian and Nancy Haas and has lived locally since 1965. He was a graduate of the University of Bridgeport and was a retired industrial designer. David also served in the U.S. Army, enjoyed fishing and woodworking, and loved spending time with his family.

Survivors also include a daughter, Kristin Murtha and her husband Brian of Monroe, a son Erik Haas of State College, PA and grandchildren Brian, Patrick and Kelly Murtha, Rachel and Sarah Haas. Funeral services will be private but donations in his name may be made to the American Red Cross (https://www.redcross.org/).
