Edward T. Jalbert

     Edward T. Jalbert, age 87 of Norwalk, died Tuesday, July 18, at the CT Hospice in Branford.  He was the husband of Ginko Wajima Jalbert.  Edward was born in Norwalk on April 7, 1930, the son of the late Edward E. and Frances Walsh Jalbert and has lived locally all of his life.  He was a veteran of the Korean War, having served in the Air Force and was the former owner/operator of Stevens Cleaners in Norwalk.

     Also surviving are a son, Edward J. Jalbert of Tempe, AZ, a brother Richard Jalbert of Norwalk, 5 grandchildren; Ted, Gray, Amy, Pia and Tasa, 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

     Edward’s family will receive friends at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk today (Fri.) from 4-7 PM.  A celebration of Edward’s life will be held Saturday, July 22, 10 AM at the funeral home, followed by burial at St. Mary Cemetery, Norwalk.
