Ernest Marriott Obituary

Ernest Edward Marriott Jr., 95, a lifelong resident of Norwalk, died on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Autumn Lake Healthcare in Norwalk. Born in Norwalk, the son of the late Ernest and Annie (Mills) Marriott, he was the husband of the late Elizabeth “Bess” Malcomson Marriott. He was also Predeceased by his siblings, William F. Marriott and Dorothy Marriott Cole.
Ernest was an Army veteran of World War II, and worked for Nash Engineering for 50 years. He retired as a purchasing manager, specializing in products from Belgium. He was a member of the Norwalk Senior Center and was active with his church, the United Congregational Church of Norwalk.
Funeral services will be held privately with burial at Riverside Cemetery, Norwalk. In recognition of Ernest’s love of animals, Memorial donations may be made to PAWS, 504 Main Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06851.
