Francesco 'Frank" Gurnari

Francesco (Frank) Gurnari 87 of Henderson, Nevada, beloved husband of the late Antoinette Petrucci Gurnari passed away peacefully at home on March 11, 2017, surrounded by members of his family. Born on October 24, 1929 in Calabria, Italy, he was the son of the late Saverio and Carmela Gurnari. He emigrated from Italy at the age of 19, settled in Norwalk and was a Norwalk resident for more than 50 years before moving to Henderson, Nevada in 2012. In 1980, he and his oldest son Sam established Gurnari Electric, a contracting firm that they successfully operated together.

Frank is survived by his 4 children, Samuel (Anna DiPaola) of Henderson, Nevada, Michael (Patty Tiscio) of Norwalk, CT, Frank Jr. of Henderson, Nevada and Gina (Nicholas Doria) of Norwalk, CT.  He is also survived by seven Grandchildren, Sylina, Michael, Frank, Anthony and Angela Gurnari, Nicholas and Danielle Doria; eight great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be on Thursday March 23, 2017 from 4 to 8PM at The Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk. Burial will be Private.
