Frederick Vozzo

Frederick Vozzo, 76, of Norwalk, died on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017 at Norwalk Hospital.  A lifelong resident and the son of the late Frederick and Rose (Sanders) Vozzo, he was the beloved husband of Karen (Emond) Vozzo, for almost 49 years. He was retired from the City of Norwalk, Parks Dept., and was a lifetime member of both the Eagles Club- Aerie # 588, and the Knights of Columbus. Freddie enjoyed NASCAR, Wrestling, Men’s Night with the boys at St. Ann’s Club, sitting on the porch with friends and family and most especially, spending time with his grandson Anthony.
 In addition to his loving wife Karen, he is survived by their son John Vozzo and his wife Maria Cappuccia Vozzo of Norwalk, and their son Anthony, as well as a brother, Brother Robert Vozzo, C.S.C. Notre Dame, IN, Aunt Louise Soltes of Huntington, CT and many other loving relatives and friends.
 His family will receive friends on Monday Dec. 4 from 4 – 8 PM at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave, Norwalk. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, Dec 5, at the funeral home, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery.
