Geraldine S. (Santagate) Grasso

Geraldine Santagate Grasso, 75, wife of Anthony R. Grasso Sr., of Norwalk, died on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at home with her family.  Born in Norwalk, the daughter of the late Vincent and Mary (Toni) Santagate, she worked in the guidance office at Darien High School.

A member of St. Philip’s Church, she enjoyed gardening and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to Anthony, her loving husband of 55 years, she is survived by their children; Dianne Johnson and her husband Robert, Dr. Anthony R. Grasso, Jr and his wife Julie, and Christina Grasso and her partner Kathy Brucker, 8 grandchildren; Caroline, Thomas, Robert, Emma, Lily, Olivia, Maddie and Ja'Kahrie.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10AM on Friday, March 16th at St. Philip Church, 1 Fr. Conlon Place, Norwalk. In Lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Gerri Grasso can be made to the Gynecological Cancer Program Fund, which supports Gynecological Cancer at the Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven.
