Gerardo Velez

Gerardo Velez, 82, of East Norwalk, died on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Norwalk Hospital. Born in Colombia, he was the husband of Cecilia (Maya) Velez for almost 50 years. Gerardo worked as a machine specialist.  In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by their children; Glen, Julianna and Lee, as well as cherished grandchildren; Joel, Christian, Olivia and Michaela. 
His family will receive friends on Sunday, May 14 from 4-8 pm at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave, Norwalk. His Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, 11am, at St. Ladislaus Church, 25 Cliff St, South Norwalk. Additional funeral services will conclude in Colombia.
