Giuseppe Baldi

Giuseppe Baldi, 83, of Norwalk, died on January 15, 2018 at St. Vincents, Bridgeport. Born in Salerno, Italy, son of the late Salvatore and Cristina (Carratu) Baldi, he was the husband of the late Maria (Modugno) Baldi.  In his younger days, he enjoyed fishing and hunting and learned leather working in Italy. After immigrating to America, he worked for The Saddler and Beval Saddlery for many years and enjoyed gardening and cooking.

He is survived by his son , Salvatore and his wife Ivonne Baldi of Trumbull, a granddaughter, Angela Baldi, a brother Mario Baldi, and sister Teresa Lamberti.
His family will receive friends on Thursday, Jan 18 from 5-8PM at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave, Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10AM on Friday, Jan 19, at St. Philip Church, 1 Fr. Conlon Pl, Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery.
