Henry P. “Hank” Gregory, loving husband of Ginny Deepstrom Gregory for 62 years, died suddenly at the Norwalk Hospital on Sunday, June 17. Hank was born in Norwalk on February 15, 1932, the son of the late Allen and Florence Gregory and had lived here all of his life. A graduate of Norwalk High School, he was the owner of Gregory’s Store and owner and developer of the Cranbury Shopping Center for many years. Hank was a devoted husband, father, friend and businessman. He enjoyed spending time with his family and vacationing in their second home in R.I.
Hank is also survived by his loving children Marylou Esposito, Lee Ann Ettinger, Hank Gregory, Jr., Susan Gregory and Wendy Marciano and her husband Paul, 11 grandchildren who he adored and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Allen, James, Edward and David Gregory.
Hank’s family will receive friends at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk on Wednesday, June 27, from 4-8 p.m. Burial will be private.
