To Anne, Marc and family:
So very Sorry of the loss of your mother. She was a very special person. I have fond memories of swimming in your pool during the summer during our childhood days. She was a good friend of my Mom's. They worked on a lot of project for St Ann's for the church. She is at peace and among the angles.

I lost my dearest friend and one I considered a "sister". Our lives were intermingled
from the day she was born (9 months after me), Growing up together as neighbors
and sharing all of life's ups and downs, we remained dear to one another. May she rest in the peace of the Lord......

So sorry for your loss. Irene was a rare breed. During the 15+ years I worked with her, she was encouraging and tolerant as she trained me. In business and life, she handled challenges (including each crisis & mini-crisis) with decorum and patience. The technique perfected by Irene was designed to de-escalate people's frustration and to clarify confusion. She will be missed.

I am so very sorry to the Sohon/Breault family for the loss of Irene. Some of my earliest childhood memories include walking across the street with my grandma Lucy, and great aunts Antoinette and Anna to visit their neighbor Irene. Growing up, she was always so supportive of my dreams and aspirations. I would sit and draw with her at her kitchen table, and she would always tell me to go for whatever I wanted. She was so blunt, and she had a great sense of humor. Sometimes she would have that ice cream that, when you cut into it, looked like watermelon. This quickly became a favorite of mine because she introduced me to it. As I grew up and moved away for school, I didn't get to see her as much as I would've liked. Irene was an amazing person, she helped shape who I am, and I'll never forget that.
