Jeanette P. (Ancona) Catugno

     Jeanette Catugno, age 84 of Norwalk, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Wednesday, April 25.  She was the beloved wife for 54 years of Charlie Catugno.  Jeanette was born in Norwalk on December 1, 1933, the daughter of the late David and Angelina Ancona, Sr.  She was retired from Norden Systems/United Technology where she had been a configuration manager.  Jeanette was a graduate of Norwalk High School and was a member with Charlie of the SNBC and the Pastime Club.  She volunteered with St. Philip Church and loved to travel, especially cruising.  Jeanette was also very talented with her arts and crafts and she loved maintaining her home and taking care of Charlie.

     Jeanette is also survived by her brother Joseph Ancona and his wife Janice of Norwalk, and many nieces and nephews.  She was also predeceased by her brother David Ancona, Jr.

     A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 28, 10 AM at St. Philip Church, 1 Fr. Conlon Pl., Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery.  Jeanette’s family will receive friends at the Magner Funeral Home on Friday from 5-8 PM.  In lieu of flowers, donations to a favorite charity may be made in her name.
