Jeffrey R. Olmstead, born August 21, 1948, died peacefully in his sleep on February 4, 2018 at Glen Hill Center, Danbury, CT at the age of 69.  Son of the late Robert A. and Audrey J. (Curly) Olmstead, Jeff was born and raised in Norwalk, CT. Jeff graduated in 1966 from Norwalk High School and entered the United States Air Force after graduation. An avid fan of sports, Jeff never missed a wrestling match or football game of any of his three sons.

Jeff is survived by his wife of 47 years, Beverly Dohring Olmstead; his son Brian and his wife Dana, and their three children, Kyle, Brendan and Madison of Altus, OK; his son Scott and his wife Aurora and their children Kalea and Makana of Bethel, CT; his son Dennis and his wife Jessica of Clinton, CT. Jeff was predeceased by his grandson Gabriel Michael.
