Joan "Mim" (Allegressa) Mastrianni

     Mim Mastrianni, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 in Charlotte, N.C. She was born August 6, 1932 in Ridgefield, Ct. to the late Arturo and Josephine Allegressa. Mim is survived by her two sisters, Teresa Raymond and Dorothy Girolametti of Ridgefield. Mim met her husband, Anthony Mastrianni while both working for John Hancock Life Insurance Company. They were married in 1953, moved to Norwalk and had four children.

     Mim is best known for her dedication to her children, her high energy, personality and humor. While raising her children, Mim worked at the Clam Box Restaurant in Westport, T-Bar Electronics of Norwalk and Francesco’s Restaurant in Wilton. Mim loved being around people, never stopped moving and continued to work into her seventies. Everyone enjoyed her company.

     Mim is predeceased by her husband Anthony and her son Mathew. She is survived by her sons Mark Mastrianni and his wife Laura of Norwalk, Kevin Mastrianni and his wife Claudia of Shelton and her daughter Robin Mastrianni Rosario of Henderson, Nevada.

     Mim is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Michael Mastrianni of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Marissa Mastrianni of Norwalk, Jenna Rosario and Sam Rosario of Henderson, Nevada.

     A Mass of Christian Burial for Mim will be held on Thursday September 5, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St. Jerome’s Church, 23 Half Mile Rd., Norwalk, Ct.  Donations in her name may be made to St. Jerome Church.
