John A. Johnson

John Alan Johnson, 75, of East Norwalk, died on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Norwalk Hospital.  Born in Danbury, CT, he served in the U.S. Army from 1962-1968. He is survived by his wife Anita Johnson of 47 years, along with his two sons John and Michael, daughters in law Meg Johnson and Stacey Johnson and his grandsons Max and Ben Johnson.  John worked in various engineering and medical device positions throughout his career and was actively working before his passing.  John was passionate about life and the outdoors and loved to birdwatch, read, bicycle, and spend time with his family and friends.  He was a lifelong advocate of exercise and keeping active. 

 His family will receive friends on Thursday, May 25th from 5-7pm at Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave, Norwalk, CT. Memory donations may be made to the American Heart Association (www.heart.org)
