Jule Ann Kline, age 89 of Norwalk, died peacefully at the Norwalk Hospital on Tuesday, September 11, after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Edwin D. Kline and the daughter of the late Matthew and Martha Pekunas. Jule was born in Great Neck, NY on October 14, 1928.
Jule was the owner of Lantern Hill Offices in Fairfield, which she co-managed with her daughter Sharon for 40 years. Jule enjoyed cooking, embroidery, and antiquing. She especially cherished spending the past 60 years in her Norwalk home, which she kept neatly decorated and stocked with treats ready for her family as she shared numerous stories of her life.
Survivors include three children, Edwin Kline of Moultonborough, NH, Susan Kline (Sean Butler) of Huntington Beach, CA, and Robert Kline (Sarah) of Norwalk, her beloved grandchildren Derek Kline, Danae Kline McCullough (Jason), Grady Kline (Janan), Bridget Kline Boger (Benjamin) and Trevor Kline, as well as three great-grandchildren. Jule was predeceased by her daughter Sharon Kline and daughter-in-law Diane Kline. The family is especially grateful to Charlene Fuller, her dog Onyx, and Tina Rush who provided Jule with loving care and companionship in her home.
Jule’s family will receive friends at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk on Thursday, Sept. 13, from 4-7 PM. Burial will be held at 11 AM Friday at Flushing Cemetery, Flushing, NY.
