Julio M. Salomone

Julio M. Salomone, 86, of Norwalk, beloved husband of Helen DeBone Salomone for 57 years, died on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Norwalk Hospital. Born in Norwalk, the son of the late Charles and Erminia (Renzulli) Salomone, he was predeceased by his brother Mario. Julio was a Korean War veteran, having served in the US Army. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and also served as an usher at St. Thomas the Apostle Church. In addition to his wife Helen, he is survived by his son Joseph Salomone, and several nieces, nephews, in-laws and other loving family members. His family will receive friends on Monday, April 2 from 4-8 PM at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave, Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Tuesday, at The Church of St. Thomas the Apostle, 203 East Ave, Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery.
