Kathleen A. Connolly-Alger

        Kathleen A. Connolly-Alger, age 74 of Trumbull and former Norwalk resident, died peacefully at her home on Wednesday, June 13.  Born in Tulsa, OK on August 16, 1943, she was the daughter of the late John F. and Mary Jane Connolly.    Kathleen was raised in Norwalk and served in the U.S. Navy for a year before the birth of her first child John Michel Alger who predeceased her in 2004..  She was an incredible mom who dearly loved her children, grandchildren and her dog Reece.

     Survivors include two daughters and their husbands, Maggie Nagy and David of Southport, Meghan Laganza and Joseph, Jr. of Trumbull, grandchildren Jack, Sydney and Charlie Laganza.  Kathleen is also survived by her siblings Kevin Connolly and his wife Cookie of Ft. Mill, SC, Brian Connolly and his wife Lisa of Palm City, FL and Colan Connolly and his wife Andrea of Hull, MA, nieces Bridget and Molly and nephew John Connolly.

     Kathleen’s family will receive friends at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk on Monday, June 18 from 5-8 PM.  A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11 AM Tuesday, with burial to follow at St. Mary Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the CT Humane Society, 455 Post Rd W, Westport, CT, 06880.
