I worked with Manny 5 years at The Conservative Synagogue. When I walked into school early morning hours, way before the kids arrived, Manny was always there, greeting me with a big smile. What a great way to start my day! But it didn't end there, Manny was a very welcome guest in my classroom and on the playground. The children always loved his attention and was in awe when he showed them his work tools. Every time I asked him for help, he would appear in my classroom shortly after with "what do you need dear". When Manny left TCS the children kept asking for him, and I missed seeing him in the hallway, listening to his salsa music while showing off his dance moves. I will always think of Manny with gratitude for every joyful moment shared with the children in my classroom, and I will always miss our early morning conversations. My deepest condolences to his family ❤ ️

Manny was a co-worker and friend at The Conservative Synagogue. To say that the two year-old children I taught worshipped him is an understatement. Manny was a superhero. He could fix anything, solve any problem, and had infinite patience for a child who was asking questions about his tools or about the job he was working on. In his own way, Manny let you know that he cared about you. Whether saying, "Sweetie, it's hard to watch you doing that all wrong, just let me do it," and papering my entire bulletin board my first year of teaching as I gratefully stepped aside, or sneaking up behind me in my empty classroom after school and barking, "Get out of here...now!", and then laughing as I jumped, startled (and then looked at the clock and realized that yes, I had been working too late and should call it a day), Manny was like a dad watching over us, with our best interests in mind. When Manny retired from The Conservative Synagogue, my class made him a book which depicted all of the things we liked and appreciated about him. I'm so glad we had the opportunity to tell him how much we cared about him, for he was always showing us how much he cared about us. To Manny's family, I'm so terribly sorry for your loss. Manny was one in a million.

We are so very sorry for your loss. We worked with Manny at the preschool, and the children in our class absolutely adored him. In fact, I know the feeling was mutual because Manny’s face lit up and that tough exterior instantly melted every time the children ran up to him like he was a rock star. He was a sweet and kind man that always had our back. Rest in peace, Manny.

We were really shocked and saddened to learn of Manny's passing. We knew him from nearly a decade of parentlng our hockey-playing sons (his 3 and our 2) together. Manny was a really sweet guy and was always very supportive of his boys and the team. Our deepest condolences to Lori and the boys, and the rest of his family.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the family and friends. Manny was a great man, I used to work with him in Produce at Shoprite. I had many good memories of him at work and outside of work playing softball for Shoprite. He will be missed by everyone. I'm sorry that I'm unable to attend the funeral as I live in Pennsylvania but my thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
