Marlene Cardillo, 87, of Norwalk, died on March 14, 2019 at Norwalk Hospital. Born in Norwalk, the daughter of the late Stephen and Mollie (Barber) Keri, she was the wife of the late Joseph A. Cardillo. An accomplished pianist, Marlene worked at the Edwards Corp., before becoming co-owner of Ridgefield Music. A volunteer at Norwalk Hospital, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting and handcrafting, and was known lovingly as the “Master Baker of Biscotti”.
She is survived by her children, Jolene DeBoer and husband David of Norwalk and Robert Cardillo and wife Laurel of Port Matilda, PA, four loving grandchildren; Brian (Kim) DeBoer, Marc (Danielle) DeBoer, Amanda (Nick) Susnjer and Stephanie Cardillo and fiancée Chris Maurer, three cherished great-grandchildren Brayden, Adriana and Thomas, as well as another great grandson due in May. She is also survived by her sister Marie (Michael) Spremulli, cousin Theresa (Bob) Virgulak, whom she loved like a sister, her niece Keri (Chris) Salustri, nephew Michael (Paula) Spremulli, four grand nieces and several cousins.
Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, Mar 19, from 5-8 PM at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave, Norwalk. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday at 10AM at St. Matthew Church 216 Scribner Ave, Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery.
