Palma J. (Scapeccia) Breisler

Palma J. Breisler, age 92, of Norwalk, died on Saturday May 12th 2018 at Norwalk Hospital. Born in Norwalk, the daughter of Ulderico and Naninna (D'Avanzo) Scapeccia, she was a graduate of Norwalk High School, and after many years of service retired from the US Postal Service. 
Mrs. Breisler is survived by her children:  Ann Marie Breisler, Elaine Braccia (Nicholas), Richard Breisler (Mary Lynn), Robert Breisler (Sue), Marilyn Fagan (Thomas), Marlene Breisler-McCullough (Robert) and John Breisler (Annalisa), 16 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Jean Gall, Virginia Mirabelli two sisters in-law, Jessie Scapeccia and Antoinette Scapeccia and was predeceased by two brothers and a sister, Frank Scapeccia, Joseph Scapeccia and Mary Scapeccia. 
Her family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Magner Funeral Home 12 Mott Avenue Norwalk. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Saturday May 19, at St Mary Church, 669 West Avenue Norwalk with burial to follow at St Mary Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be made to a veteran's group of one's choice.
