Pamela W. Meyer, age 63 of Wilton, died peacefully at home with her family at her side on Thursday, February 7, after a long illness. She was the loving wife of Robert C. Meyer. Pam was born on November 1, 1955 in Thompsonville, CT, the daughter of the late Chester and Sadie Waleryszak. A graduate of Trinity College and the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, she worked as a financial officer and consultant at various companies before settling in Wilton to raise her family. She was an active volunteer with Wilton Public Schools and the Wilton Y Wahoos, and enjoyed playing tennis at the Shore and Country Club. In recent years, she worked at Williams Sonoma in Westport and volunteered at PAWS animal shelter in Norwalk. In addition to her husband, Rob, Pam is survived by her children Carolyn F., Shaina C., and Daniel R. Meyer, and several cousins.
A celebration of Pam’s life will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 229 Danbury Rd., Wilton, at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 16 with burial to follow in Hillside Cemetery 70 Ridgefield Rd. Wilton. There are no visiting hours.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial gifts may be sent to the Tuck School of Business, 100 Tuck Hall, Hanover, NH 03755, for the “Class of 1979 Memorial Scholarship Fund.”
