Patricia T. (Tuchy) Conlin

Patricia Tuchy Conlin, 80, life long resident of Norwalk, died on Friday March 24, 2017 at Norwalk Hospital. Born in Norwalk, the daughter of Anthony and Margaret (Costa) Tuchy, she was the wife of the late William R. Conlin. After earning her Baccalaureate degree in business from Bryant University, she worked as a property manager, among many other jobs. Very community oriented and politically active, she was the first female Police Commissioner of Norwalk. She also volunteered at Norwalk Hospital, was a member of the Sons of Italy and the Colombiettes. She enjoyed traveling and movies with her close friends.
Patricia is survived by her children; W. Scott Conlin and his wife Kathy of Norwalk; twin daughters Kathleen M. Conlin of Norwalk and Laura E. Conlin of East Greenwich, Rhode Island; 2 cherished grandchildren, Katherine A. and Lisa M. Conlin; a sister Linda T. Keena and her husband Harold; several nieces and nephews as well as several "grand-pets"  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am on Thurs., March 30, at St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Ave. , Norwalk. Other services will be held privately.
