Welcome to the memorial page for

Patricia Ann (Camarota) Luppino

March 28, 1943 ~ September 4, 2017 (age 74) 74 Years Old

Patricia Ann Luppino, age 74, beloved wife of Rocco Luppino passed away on Monday September 4. Pat was born on March 28, 1943 in Norwalk, Connecticut, daughter of the late Victor and Filomena (Cossuto) Camarota.

Pat graduated from Wilton High School in 1961 and went on to study at Mandl School – The College of Allied Health in New York City, before practicing as a dental assistant.  In 1965, she married Rocco, her husband of 52 years.  For 38 years they worked together in several businesses, culminating at Rocco’s Food Market in Norwalk CT until their retirement.

Pat’s true love was her family.  She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  As a mom, Pat’s passion for her children had her volunteering for room parent, CCD and school activities. Between shuttling the kids to sports and music lessons, she enjoyed singing in the OLF church choir.

Pat and Rocco enjoyed many years of retirement pursuing their love of dancing, becoming active members of the Sons of Italy and St. Anne’s Club and spending her time with her grandchildren.  Her favorite pastimes included reading and cooking. Friends and family alike experienced Pat’s nurturing spirit and remember fondly that every visit with her came with an abundance of freshly prepared food and, hopefully the cookies for which she was famous.

In addition to her husband, Rocco, Pat is survived by her 3 children, Jo-Anne Ochalla and husband Kurt, Frank Luppino and wife Carolyn, and Peter Luppino and wife Kim, a sister Arlene Carlson and her husband Walter, a brother Richard Camarota and his wife Alice, and 7 grandchildren, Justin, Francesca, Julia, Matthew, Jonathan, Michael and William.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday September 12, 2017 at St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Ave, Shelton, CT at 10 AM, with Entombment to follow in St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Ave, Norwalk. Calling hours will take place on Monday, September 11 from 4 to 8 PM at The Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave Norwalk.
