Peter G. Coughlan, Jr.

Peter G. Coughlan, Jr, 67, of Monroe and longtime resident of Norwalk, died on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at the Regional Hospice in Danbury.  Born in Ossining, New York, the son of the late Peter and Mary (Reilly) Coughlan, he was predeceased by his brother James Reilly.  Peter attended Central Catholic H.S., Norwalk Community College and UConn and retired from Pitney Bowes as an accountant after over 40 years of service. He also served in the U.S. Army in the early 1970’s where he was stationed in Germany. An avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, he enjoyed building model cars and was very proud of his grandson, Max.
He is survived by his daughter Colleen A. Coughlan, grandson Max Coughlan, and nephews, Tom Reilly, Jerry Reilly and Jimmy Reilly. His family will receive friends on Monday from 6-8PM at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave, Norwalk.. A graveside service will be held privately at a later time.
