A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11AM on Friday, Nov 30 at St Philip Church, 1 Fr Conlon Pl, Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery. His family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 to 8 PM at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave, Norwalk. In lieu of flowers, his family requests donations be made to The National Foundation for Transplants at: www.transplants.org (800) 489-3863.
Obituary:
Richard Gasparino, 65, of Norwalk passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Cambridge Manor, Fairfield. Richard sang for many years with the Sacred Heart Church Choir and more recently with St. Philip Church Choir. He enjoyed sports, especially the Yankees, Knicks, Rangers and Giants, as well as the UConn Huskies basketball and football.
Richard was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Victoria Mazzone Gasparino. Richard is survived by his brother Anthony and his wife Claudia of Palm Coast, FLand his beloved sister Rosemary Fabion and her husband Louis of Fairfield. He also leaves behind his niece Michele (Kevin) Smith and great- nephew Peyton, his nephew Christopher (Kate) Fabion and great niece Ella Rose, and nieces Stacey Fabion and Tina (Michael) Jones
