Robert D. Fahey, 77 of Monroe, formerly of Norwalk, died on Friday, Nov. 10, 2017 at home. Born in Norwalk, the son of Philip and Ruth (McQuaid) Fahey, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps and worked as a field service rep for Eastman Kodak. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed sailing, skiing, gardening, hunting, fishing, music and dancing.
He is survived by his children; Kathey Dziedzic, Robert “Boots” Fahey Jr. and his significant other Lori Canal, Michael W. Fahey and his wife Tiare, Miriam Fahey and Philip Fahey; his previous wives; Della F. Walsh, Miriam Fahey Galaz, and Wieslawa Fahey, and his much loved grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by 2 sisters and a brother; Phyllis Denny, Eileen Pomponi and William Fahey.
His family will receive friends on Thursday, Nov 16 from 6 to 8 pm with funeral services officiated by Pastor Peter Smith of Calvary Church, to begin at 7:30 pm. Burial will be held privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Toys for Tots.
