Susan B. Britto

Susan B. Britto, wife of the late George Britto passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center.  Born in Norwalk on June 5, 1949 to Irene (Zavory) Hastings and the late James W. Hastings, Sr., Susan was 68 years old.

Susan enjoyed baking, quilting and had a great love for all animals, especially turtles.  She was a devoted mother and a loving and loyal friend to many in the community and was an active member of the Calvin Reformed Church in Norwalk.

In addition to her mother Irene, Susan is survived by her two brothers, James W. Hastings, Jr. and his wife, Cheryl of West Virginia and Mark G. Hastings and his wife Jeanne of North Carolina, as well as her son, Matthew Britto, many nieces and nephews and two great-nieces.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 30, from 5-8pm at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk, with a prayer service at 7:30pm done by Rev. John Cardamone.
