Theodoro “Ted” Pineda age 85 and loving husband of Olga Marina Pineda, died peacefully at his home on Thursday, August 23. Ted was born in Guatemala on November 9, 1932, the son of the late Jose and Emma Pineda. He was the former owner of OEM Parts in New York, an automotive export business, and has lived locally for over 20 years. He was an usher for St. Philip Church for many years, was an avid NY Yankee fan and loved spending time with his family.
Survivors also include a daughter, Isabel Rosendahl and her husband Chris of Norwalk, son Carlos Pineda of Paris, France, and two grandchildren, Christian Thor Rosendahl and Erika Olga Rosendahl.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 27, 11 AM at St. Philip Church, 1 Fr. Conlon Pl., Norwalk. Ted’s family will receive friends at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk on Sunday from 3-6 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to St. Philip Church.
