Tony Iosifidis

Tony Iosifidis of Milford, husband of the late Sophia (Fokas) Iosifidis since 1950, died on July 24, 2018 at Norwalk Hospital at the age of 94.  He was born on February 3, 1924 in Konstantinoupolis, the son of the late Dimitrios and Sophia (Athanasiadis) Iosifidis.  He was a self-employed carpenter, loved fishing and served in the Greek Army during the Greek Civil War.

     Tony is survived by his sons Pete (Elisabeth), James, his daughter Anastasia, brother George, 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

     Friends may call at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk on Friday, July 27 from 4-8 PM.  As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent to Holy Institution Panagia Soumela, 253 Marshall Hill Road, West Milford, NJ 07480. The burial will be in Greece.
