Valia Righetti

Ms.Valia Righetti passed away at Griffin Hospital Shelton, Connecticut after a short illness. She was formerly a resident of Flushing, NY, Norwalk, Milford and Shelton, Connecticut.

Born in NYC, daughter of the late Caroline Lombardi Righetti and the late Henry Righetti. Valia always retained her NY roots despite being a Connecticut resident for many years.

As a young woman she traveled all over Europe with friends and never lost her love of travel. She always shared her many adventures of her travels at family gatherings.

Other than traveling she also enjoyed time with family and friends. She was an active member of United Methodist Church in Shelton, Ct and enjoyed bible study and other activities there. Val was an avid pet lover and had many cherished pets during her lifetime.

Aunt Val is survived by a sister Etra Kaminski and brother in law John Kaminski. She was predeceased by four sisters and two brothers.

Arrangements are through Magner Funeral Home 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk Norwalk, Ct. with a short tribute to her life at 1 PM, on Sunday December 10, 2017

Interment will be private.
