William R. Smith Jr., 49, of Sandy Hook, died suddenly on Feb 23, 2018 at his home. Born in Danbury, son of William D. and Joan (Barnes) Smith, he worked for Chimney Corners as a mason.. Predeceased by his son, Jimmy Sayers, he is also survived by his sister Joanne D'Amore, step-mother Patricia Smith, step-son Ralph McDonald, step-brother Sam McDonald 2 step sisters, Jessica Cocchia and Victoria Smith, and longtime companion Susan Sayers, Funeral services will be held privately by his family.
