On Wednesday, January 19, 2023, Adam Vincent Doskocs, loving brother, son, husband and father, passed away at age 45 in the arms of his beloved wife, Melissa. Born in Silver Spring, MD on June 22, 1977. Adam grew up the youngest of 3 older brothers and attended school in Montgomery County, Maryland and at Walnut Hill School for the Arts in Natick, Massachusetts.
Deeply visionary and creative, Adam was passionate about music, the arts, travel, cooking, gardening, building, and caring for animals. A talented and trained musician, he worked as a sound engineer for television and film, in Restorative Justice, and as a cook. He is perhaps best remembered through his re-creation of The Middlebrook Restaurant in West Fairlee, VT, where he was commended for his exquisitely sourced and prepared food, the organic vegetables he grew, the handmade furniture he built, and the simple, refined ambience he offered.
Adam is survived by his wife, Melissa Amy Cohen and their 9-month old daughter, Hanna Charlotte Doszkocs; his mother, Christine Aquino; his father, Tamas Doszkocs; and his brothers, Matthew Doszkocs and Tom Doszkocs, his wife, Marissa and their children Julia and Derek. He is predeceased by his brother, Christopher Doszkocs.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at 10am at Magner Funeral Home in Norwalk, CT with interment and luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family asks those who are able to contribute to Hanna’s Music Education Fund in memory of Adam via GoFundMe at https://gofund.me/34c85211
