Adeline C. (Toni) Pote

Adeline C. Pote, 97, of Norwalk, died on April 3, 2021 at St. Camillus in Stamford. Born in Fall River, MA, the daughter of the late Batista and Ambrosina (Fusori) Toni, she had worked in Norwalk, at Marcus Dairy and the Card Cupboard. 

An avid lover of chocolate, nature and animals, she enjoyed the beach, feeding the squirrels and pigeons in her backyard, and road trips with her dog Peter.

She was predeceased by her siblings; Jerry Toni, Florence Tonelli, Alma Dalli and Mary Santagate.

Adeline is survived by her children Alan Pote of Bridgeport, Elaine Johnston and her husband Wayne of Norwalk, and David Pote of FL, granddaughter Melissa Gill, two cherished great-grandchildren, Derek and Amber Makowski and several loving nieces and nephews.

Her Memorial Gathering will be held from 11 AM - 1PM, on Saturday, June 12, at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave, Norwalk.  Other services to be held privately by her family.
