Beverly Ann (Dohring) Olmstead

     Beverly A. Olmstead of Bethel, died peacefully on January 13, 2021 at Glen Hill Center in Danbury at the age of 73.  Beverly was born on December 20, 1947 to Roy and Ruth (Fox) Dohring in Norwalk where she was raised.

     Wife to the late Jeffrey R. Olmstead, Beverly was a devoted wife and loving mother to her three boys.  A stay-at-home mother, Beverly prided herself on a clean and happy home with music always playing and dancing while doing anything was a common occurrence.  Beverly never turned down the opportunity to play a game of Rummy, Monopoly, or Pinochle with her family and friends.  An avid Chief fan, Beverly never missed a son’s football game and never minded talking about it at the dinner table!

     Beverly is survived by her son Brian and his wife Dana and their three children Kyle, Brendan and Madison, her son Scott and his wife Aurora and their children Kalea and Makana, her son Dennis and his wife Jessica and their daughter Gracelyn.  She was predeceased by a grandson Gabriel Michael.

     Graveside services for Beverly will be held at St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Ave. in Norwalk at a date and time to be announced. Memorial donations may be made to  ”The Colby Fund”,  St. Mary’s Development Office, c/o the Colby Fund, PO Box 7291, Lewiston, ME, 04243-7291.
