Carmen Gisela Frias

     Carmen Gisela Frias, age 75 of Norwalk, died at the Norwalk Hospital on Monday, November 25, 2019, after a brief illness.  She was born in the Dominican Republic on December 29, 1943, the daughter of the late Ramon Frias and Gladys Hernandez.  Carmen was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother who lived for her family and cherished every moment she had with each of them.  She loved visiting the Dominican Republic, was an amazing cook and she had a great sense of humor.

     Carmen will be dearly missed by her children Mirna Marin and her husband Luis, Soraya Bell and her husband Benito, Frank Urban, Jr. and his wife Venny, Nelsy Urban and her husband Ruben Gonzalez,  Nastenka Mirthes and her husband Ian, her grandchildren Krystal, Farrah, Rick, Frank, Philip, Ben, Jason, Jordan, Angie, Joshua (late), Julian, Olivia, Logan and Lillian, her great grandchildren Neil, Alex, Lani and Bryson, her sisters Nelsy Urban Frias and Maria Nella Frias and her nieces and nephews Jennie, Socrates, Gisele, Elizabeth, Angie (late), Leticia, Gregory, and Peter.

     Carmen’s family will receive friends at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk on Saturday, November 30 from 11 am to 2 pm.
