Obituary
Carol Bickerstaff, 75, of Norwalk Passed away peacefully on April 6, 2023 at Norwalk Hospital. She was born on July 31, 1947 to the late Robert and Helen Takacs. Carol was a beloved teacher in New Mexico and in the Norwalk area schools.
Carol loved to sing and was a proud member of the Norwalk Community Chorale. She also spent some time serving as secretary of the Chorale.
Carol is survived by three siblings; Robert Takacs (Nancy) of New Mexico, Barbara Edwards of Norwalk and Lawrence Takacs (Linda) of Maryland. She also leaves behind many cherished nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews including Allen Edwards Jr. (Linda), Catherine Edwards (Joe), Robert Edwards, Matthew Edwards and Justin Edwards. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brother Steve Takacs.
Her family will have a visitation for her on Thursday April 20, from 5-8 pm, at the Magner Funeral Home 12 Mott Ave. Norwalk CT with remembrances beginning at 7:30.
