Catherine Thomas Obituary

Catherine Jane Thomas, 85, a lifelong resident of Norwalk, died on August 28, 2021 at Brookdale of Wilton after a long illness. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Catherine (Rooney) Taptick. A graduate of Sacred Heart Academy in Stamford, she worked as a bookkeeper at Perkin-Elmer Corp. Predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Stephen Thomas, her brother Michael Taptick and sister Paula Taptick , she is survived by her three daughters: Catherine Robertson of Norwalk, Elizabeth Thomas of New York City, and Ellen Thomas of New York City, as well as two grandchildren, Julia (and Peter) Barbieri of Fairfield, and Matthew Robertson of Stamford, and two great grandchildren, Peter and Miranda Barbieri.
