Concetta (Iannazzo) Mazzei

     Concetta Mazzei, age 89 of Norwalk, died peacefully at Norwalk Hospital on February 23, 2021.  She was the wife of the late Antonio Mazzei.  Concetta was born on January 21, 1932, the daughter of the late Domenico and Rosa (Pullia) Iannazzo and has lived locally since December of 1968.  She enjoyed knitting, cooking and baking her homemade bread and pizza.  She loved her Sunday family dinners and will be dearly missed by her family.

     Survivors include her children, Gasparino (Jasper) Mazzei and his wife Gail, Rosetta Mazzei, and Ornella Socci and her husband Domenick, her brother Antonio Iannazzo and his wife Millie, her sisters Luisa DeBiase, Angela Iannazzo and Rosetta Iannazzo, loving grandchildren Joey, Regina and Angela Socci, and many nieces and nephews.  Concetta was also predeceased by her brother Felix Iannazzo and his wife Giovanna, her sister Carmela DeBiase and her husband Pasquale, and her brother-in-law Armando DeBiase.

     A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 26, 10 AM at St. Philip Church, 1 Fr. Conlon Pl., Norwalk, with entombment to follow at St. John Cemetery.  Concetta’s family will receive friends walk through wake at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk on Thursday from 5-8 PM with a limit of 25 people at a time.  Masks and social distancing are required at all 3 locations.
