Dorothy "Dottie" (Dixon) Sullivan

Dorothy (Dottie) Sullivan passed away peacefully at the age of 91 on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. Dottie graduated from New Canaan High School and was known by her gregarious nature and her “always pleasing smile.” Dottie brought joy to all who knew her. You could often find her making new friends wherever she went and hitting the dance floor when the music started. She worked for many years at the Whitney Shop in New Canaan, Sun Holidays in Stamford and then at Tauck Tours in Wilton.

Dottie was predeceased by her first husband Joseph Sirico, Sr and her second husband Hugh Sullivan, sister Helen Taylor, and brother Bruce Dixon. She is survived by her daughter Lori Hinds and sons Steven Sirico and Joseph Sirico, their spouses, 2 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 3 furry grand babies. She will be deeply missed

Wake to be held at Magners Funeral Home on November 2nd from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St Matthews on November 3rd at 10:00am followed by burial in St Johns Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital.
