Earl Moore

“If love alone could have saved you, you would have stayed with us forever.”

Earl Moore Jr., 75, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, August 19th, 2021 leaving behind his loving wife Darlene and two daughters, Kim Littell, Keri Stepleman, son-in-law, Marc, and sister Pat Larson. He had three grandchildren who were the joy of his life, Jenna Stepleman, Jake Stepleman, and Alexandra Littell. He is also survived by his nephews and nieces, Derrick Drew, Ryan Drew, Laura Wade, and Angela Bubar.

Earl was born to Earl Sr. and Ruth Moore of Weston, CT. He was raised in Westport, CT and eventually moved to Norwalk where he met Darlene, the love of his life, at 21. They were married March 15th, 1967 and raised their two daughters in Norwalk. Earl and Darlene celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary this past March. 

Earl's absolute greatest joy was spending time with his wife and family. They also enjoyed many trips to Vermont and Maine. Lady, his beloved rescue dog, also misses him greatly. A loyal friend and father who would do anything for those he loved, Earl was taken too soon and will forever be loved and missed by those who knew him.
