“Bubs” died at age 88 peacefully in his home in the hands of his family on Tuesday, December 14, 2021. Bubs was born in Portchester, New York. He attended Greenwich High School where he excelled as a lineman on the Greenwich High School football team. It was there where he met his future wife, Barbara Coffey “Bobbie”.

After serving two years in the US Army, he married Bobbie in 1955 and had a lifetime career as a professional electrician with Local Union 501 White Plains New York.

Settling in South Norwalk in 1960, Bubs and Bobbie went on to have four children: Laurie, Tom, Lindy and Tim, followed by six grandchildren Kady, Jesse, Patrick, Tyler, Jacopo, and Elia.

Bubs will always be remembered in everyone’s heart as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, family man, and close friend. He worked tirelessly for the love and happiness of his family. Bubs’ sense of humor and the endless stories enabled him to become incredibly popular and very well loved amongst his family and many friends.

He will be missed dearly.
