Elizabeth Sucharski

Elizabeth Sucharski unexpectedly died in Norwalk on September 19, 2022. She was born in Saint James, New York on July 27,1967.  She moved to Norwalk when she was three years old with her sister and mother where she remained until she graduated from Norwalk High School in 1985. 
     Liz spent many years building a career at Yellow Book. She initially worked in Fairfield County and later became a successful trainer, traveling throughout the United States. She was innately creative and masterful at home decorating, floral design, fashion, and entertaining. Liz will always we remembered  for her stunning green eyes, outgoing nature, and quick wit. She was wickedly funny, could make anyone laugh, and had a mischievous side that often led to practical jokes and hijinks. Liz loved to vacation, and traveled to a numerous beaches and islands with her close circle of friends.
     Liz was devoted to her rescue dog, Charlie, who became a her loyal companion. She couldn't get enough of his clown-like personality and he willingly wore little doggy costumes and reindeer antlers. She loved to take him for car rides where he happily wore goggles to protect his eyes from the wind.
     Liz is survived by her siblings, Anastasia M. Sucharski, Mathew E. Zizzo, Claire R. Zizzo, and Trinette L. Zizzo, as well as her Step-Father who raised her, Emmanual A. Zizzo, 3 nephews Hayden, Avery, and Elijah, and her godson Patrick.   She was preceded in death by Claire A. Zizzo, Earl B. Mumma, Claire L. Mumma, and Robert V. Sucharski.  Loved by many, Liz was fortunate to have a core group of lifelong friends that were her chosen sisters and family.  
     A Celebration of Life will take place on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 6pm at Calf Pasture Beach. Please bring a beach chair or blanket and meet across from the ball fields (look for balloons). Calf Pasture is free to Norwalk Residents and non-residents will be charged $20 per car, please consider a car pool.
