Ellen (Farrelly) Chase

Ellen F. Chase, 71, of Norwalk, died on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Norwalk Hospital. Born in Bronx, NY, daughter of the late Peter and Mary Katherine (Nolan) Farrelly, she was also predeceased by her siblings Peter and Michael Farrelly.  She earned her Nursing degree from St. Vincent’s School of Nursing located in Bridgeport, Connecticut. After graduation she began working in the ICU at Norwalk Hospital and finished her career with a local Ear, Nose and Throat specialist.

She is survived by her children Timothy Chase and his wife Debra, Shawn Chase and his wife Diana, and Suzanne Lang and her husband Thomas, and 8 cherished grandchildren: Samuel, Ellen, Eva, Noah, Sofia, Caleb, Julia and Alyssa, as well as  her siblings Elizabeth Moreau, Patrick Farrelly, Thomas Farrelly and Janet Leone, and many nieces and nephews.

Her family will receive friends on Monday, June 21 from 6-8 PM at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk.  Her Funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, at St. Jerome Church, 23 Half Mile Rd., Norwalk, Burial will be held privately.
