Enes Marie (Bucciarelli) Drake

 Enes Marie Drake of Norwalk, age 78, died peacefully at her home on March 16, 2022.  She was the loving wife of Rossiter J. Drake, Jr.  Enes was born in Norwalk on September 9, 1943, the daughter of the late Peter J. and Nancy (Schiavone) Bucciarelli and has lived locally all of her life.  She worked for many years as a language arts teacher for Norwalk Public Schools.  Enes was a kind-hearted woman with a sharp tongue and a wry sense of humor. She loved to read, go for walks, and travel. But, above all, she loved her family.

In addition to her husband, Enes is survived by her loving daughter Shana Drake Kelleher and her husband Paul, her brother Peter Bucciarelli, nieces Renee and Karen and many other nieces and nephews.  She was also predeceased by her beloved son Ross Drake, her brother Richard Bucciarelli and her sister Dolores Centner.

     A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 21, 10 AM at St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Ave., Norwalk,
