Filomena “Faye” DuBois, 93, of Norwalk, beloved wife of the late Arthur DuBois, died peacefully at Norwalk Hospital on December 25, 2021. Born in Norwalk, the daughter of the late Generoso and Amelia Festa. She was also predeceased by her siblings; Alfred, Samuel and Pasquale Festa, Josephine Purcell, Mary Manzi, Anna Reda and Helen Barati.
A kind and generous woman, she was a gentle spirit who enjoyed the simple joys in life; cooking for others, being kind, watching Jeopardy! and other game shows, and adoring her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter, Denise Paci and her husband George of Fairfield, son Arthur DuBois, Jr. of Shelton, two cherished grandsons Matthew Paci and his wife Shari, and Nicholas Paci and his girlfriend Lindsay, two great-grandchildren Lucas and Noah Paci, as well as two sisters Tillie Besaw and Rose Russo, her special Sister-in-law, Claire Christiano and many nieces and nephews.
Faye’s family will receive friends on Tuesday, Dec. 28 from 10-11AM, with a prayer service, officiated by pastor Henry Brehm, at 11, at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery.
