Miss Sartor was my kindergarten teacher in the East House at Hurlbutt Elementary School in Weston from 1971-1972.  I have great memories from my year with her, especially of her teaching us how to make latch hook rugs. She was a wonderfully dedicated teacher and a credit to her profession. Rest in peace Miss Sartor.

When we bought a house bordering her property Grace came by to introduce herself. There was nothing she loved as much as BI. I will pour a drink of scotch tonight because that is what she drank when she came to visit.

Very sad to hear this news.  A lifelong Bell Island resident, she was a good friend and neighbor to many.  Rest in Peace Grace.  You will be missed.
